Car showroom’s New Year debut

WORK is well under way on a new car showroom which is due to open in the new year.

The new Mini showroom is being built and run by Lloyd Motor Group of Laithwaite, Cockermouth. It is being built next to the company’s existing showroom on Low Road.

Lloyds sales manager Clive Blacklock, 56, said: “The building work is progressing steadily and we hope to open our doors in late January at the earliest, although it is impossible to put an exact date on it at the moment.”
