Caretaker faces assault charge

A MARYPORT school caretaker will appear in court on charges of assault and causing actual bodily harm.
Maryport Junior School caretaker, Anne Martin, 49, was charged as the result of an incident at the school on Sunday, March 9, when she approached secondary school students who were on the premises while the school was closed.
She is accused of common assault against one of the students and causing actual bodily harm to the second.
