Pupils sign up to learn life saving techniques

CHILDREN at Aspatria’s Beacon Hill School will learn life-saving skills from the British Heart Foundation.

Year eight pupils have signed up to the charity’s Heartstart UK initiative, which teaches people what to do in a life-threatening emergency.

Students have been issued with training kits to take home to reinforce their skills. They then aim to train as many others as they can, with a minimum target of eight.
