Justin Wilcox, 26, who owns Morgans on Senhouse Street, was the only hairdresser in Cumbria to be named in the list compiled by Elle magazine.
He said: “I was delighted to be recognised for the work I have done. I have put a lot of effort into getting to where I am, working hard and learning from some of the best in the business.“So far I am the only hairdresser in Cumbria to be given this certificate, so it’s a big thing for me.“Now that I have this award it has given me more confidence with my work.”
