A worldwide army of fans: Andrew Johnston is due to record an album

FANCY yourself as the next Andrew Johnston? Can you wow people with your comedy routine? Stun them with your musical ability?

If so, let us know and you could win £500.

Whatever your talent, the Times & Star wants you to enter our Red Raw Talent Show competition, which will be held as part of Workington's Paint the Town Red festival on Saturday August 30.

To enter, click here to email us with your name, address, telephone number, age and what your talent is or fill in the form below by Friday August 15.

All applicants will receive notification if they have been selected or not.

Rules

Closing date August 15.

Places will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse an application without giving reasons and may review the entry criteria in order to offer a balanced programme.

Performance slots are for a maximum of four minutes and after that, a time penalty will be awarded.

Entrants must not earn a living from performing.

Applicants agree to abide by the rules and any decision made by the organisers.

Four handheld mics will be available together with the facility to play CDs, mini discs and cassettes.

Entries who sing over an original artiste will be disqualified.
