A GROUP of Workington cyclists have raised £1,500 for Hospice at Home West Cumbria.
Hospice ride: Getting ready for their C2C bike ride are Paul Fagan, front, with, back from left: Andrew Singleton, Ian Cale and Josh Caine
The four cyclists, all from Workington, cycled along the Coast to Coast from the town to Sunderland over Sunday and Monday.
The money raised was in memory of George Cornish, who had been a much-loved grandfather to Molly and Taylor.
Paul Fagan, one of the cyclists, said: “We would like to say a big thank-you to everyone for all the donations.
“A special thanks to Ian and Ann at the Bike Bank for all their help and providing the support vehicle.”
To donate money to the charity call Bob Barnby at Hospice at Home West Cumbria on 01900 873173 or 705202.
