I WOULD like to present the owners of persistent yapping dogs with an award, YDOA (Yapping Dog Owners Award).

I would like to present it on behalf of the following:

• Kids Early Risers Club (school kids awakened well before they should and are worn out before they even start school;
• The LAS (Late Age Society), the elderly who may be ill or retired and deserve more peace and quiet;
• The NSG (Night Shift Guys), the poor beggars who come home in the small hours after a long night at work only to find that as soon as they hit the pillow, the owners of these persistent yappers let their mutt out for yet another ear piercing session;
• Lastly, the GPS (Garden Peace Seeker), those who retire to their garden seeking an afternoon’s peace and relaxation who might if lucky get five whole minutes of silence before the yapping dogs let rip again.

To all owners of dogs that yap persistently, please spare a thought to those people around you.

Either muzzle them or get them debarked at the vets!
