Double honour for Brett

SEATON Rangers recently held their annual presentation night in the lounge at Seaton ARL club.
The well attended event included sponsors from Red House/Yankees, Premier Blinds, AA Carpets, and West Coast Thermals.
Presenting the awards was former Workington Town coach Ged Stokes, who now coaches Whitehaven.
Winning the top award of the player’s player of the year -the Tommy Horrocks Trophy -was Brett Phillips, who put in an excellent season in both attack and defence.
Brett Phillips was also the player of the year and Gareth Key collected the coaches’ player of the year award.
Young player of the year was Adam McGlasson, Steven Hodgson won the Yankees Trophy, and Nicky Penrice took the Richard Jeffery Trophy.
Most improved player was Chris George, most dedicated was Duncan Moyle, Nicky Williams was clubman of the year, and top tryscorer was Richard George.
The club’s committee would like to thank everyone who has helped last season.
