Beckfoot fish

WORKINGTON Sea Angling Club fished a club and league match at Beckfoot - 14 adults and one junior catching flounder, plaice, dab, whiting, coley and bass.
S George won with two flounder, nine dab and a whiting for 325cm, second was M Laycock with six flounder, three dab and a coley for 284cm, and third was S Barlow with three plaice and three flounder.
The longest fish, a bass of 55cm, was caught by Howard Knudtson and weighed 3lb 7oz. Lee Murphy, the only junior, caught three fish for 86cm.
