HARRINGTON Sea Angling Club’s latest match was held at Salterbeck on Saturday fishing from 4pm-8pm.
Twelve anglers caught a total of 14 fish - nine eel, three flounder, a rockling and a plaice.
First was Barry McGlasson with an eel, a flounder and a plaice weighing a total of 2lb 12oz.
Second was Luke Holiday with an eel and a flounder weighing 2lb 3 oz. His eel was also the heaviest fish weighing 1lb 13oz. Third was Phill Sibbald with two eel weighing 1lb 5oz.
The club will be holding a meeting on August 4 at 7:30 pm in Harrington Legion on Salterbeck Road.

WORKINGTON SAC fished Grasslot on Sunday in a strong north westerly wind.
Fourteen adults and two juniors caught flounder, tope, plaice, eel, dog fish, plaice, bass, dab and gurnard.
Shaun Dixon, back fishing again, won with a dog fish and an eel for 2lb 4½oz. He also had the heaviest fish, the dog fish at 2lb 2¼oz.
Second was D Busby with two plaice for 1lb 6½oz. Third was S George with two flounder for 1lb 3¼oz.
Lee Murphy won the juniors with two flounder and one eel for 1lb 12½oz. Second was Liam Barlow with one eel for 10oz.
The next match is on Sunday at Mawbray 3.30pm-7.30pm, weigh-in at Mawbray crossroads.
