Difficult fishing

HARRINGTON SAC’s latest match was fished at Bootle on Saturday August 7, between 5pm and 9pm.
Heavy weed made fishing difficult but eight anglers managed to land 13 fish - seven eels, four dog fish, a bass and two flounders.
First was Brian Holiday with one dog fish and a bass total bag weight 4lb 12½oz Brian caught the heaviest fish a bass weighing 2lb 8oz.
Second was Alan Hill with two dog fish total bag weight 3lb 4oz.
Third was Darren Pape with one eel and a dog fish total bag weight 2 lb 9½oz
