Redbank fish

WORKINGTON Sea Angling Club fished Redbank in a flat calm sea. Fifteen adults and five juniors caught plaice, dog fish and flounder.

Adam Stewart won with a dog fish for 2lb 3¾oz. Second was D Busby with two plaice for 1lb 11½oz and third was Jimmy Smith with two plaice for 1lb 9½oz.

In the juniors Matthew Smith won with a flounder for 1lb 11¼oz. Second was Thomas Smith with one plaice for 1lb 3oz.

Next league match is on Sunday from Salterbeck/Harrington pier to Workington pier, 5.30pm to 9.30pm. Weigh in Queen’s Head.
