CHARLOTTE Watson has gained selection for the British Orienteering squad in the women 15 years group.
This will involve the West Cumberland Orienteering Club member going to training camps where she will join a select group of the very best juniors in Great Britain.
Watson’s hard work in improving her skills and fitness has certainly paid off.
She has consistently turned in those top performances which keep her at the head of the results lists.
Watson has also been selected for the European Youth Orienteering Championships to be held in mid October in Oberaargau-Solothurn, Switzerland.
Earlier this year she won two gold medals for England at the World Schools Championships held in Scotland.
