James wins Junior Captain’s Day

ELEVEN hardy young golfers braved the elements in support of Tommy Hodgson’s Junior Captain’s Day at Keswick Golf Club.
Jamie O’Brien (off nine) continued his good run of form and won the 18-hole Stableford competition with 37 points.
Will Humphreys (off 12) just edged out Tom Kitching (off 27) to take second with both scoring 36 points.
Jack Hodgson (off 17) came fourth with 32 points and also won the prize for nearest the pin on the 16th with the other nearest the pin prize going to Jake Doolin off 29 for his tee shot on the third.
Lads without a handicap played a nine-hole competition, won by Jordan Pattinson. Second was Bruce McDonald with Josh Hascamp third and Nathan Hurton fourth.
