PAPCASTLE schoolboy Seb Crookall-Nixon has this week been competing in the Italian U16 Championships at Biella Golf Club.

He was part of an English Golf Union trio playing against sides from throughout Europe in a 54-hole stroke play tournament.

In the side with Crookall-Nixon, who plays for Workington Golf Club, were Colin Walsh, of Hayling, and Oscar Sharpe, of Minchinhampton.

Crookall-Nixon made the team after winning the England U14 championship.
