MARYPORT Golf Club staged its club championships on Saturday in – surprisingly – good weather with hardly any wind.
The men’s winner was Richard Cook with Gary Carruthers runner-up.
In the ladies’ championship the winner was Rebecca Edwards followed by Cath Mossom.
The ladies’ bronze championship was won by Sarah Bedford with Helen Hutchinson runner-up.
Tom Bainbridge won the Bankenders’ championship with Steve Sansom runner-up.
The junior championship winner was Matthew Wilkinson with Blake Rooney the runner-up.
