AN EXTRAORDINARY general meeting for the Cockermouth and District Snooker League has been called for September 1.

The meeting in Workington Royal British Legion has been called with a view to introducing individual handicaps for league games.

All teams taking part in the 08/09 season, which starts in October, should ensure at least one representative is present at the EGM. If that is not achievable, apologies must be submitted to the secretary. All competition entries should be finalised and brought to the meeting if not already submitted.

Any other proposals must be offered in writing.
