Shaun Lunt could play

SHAUN Lunt could be back in Town’s line-up for tomorrow’s game at London Skolars.

Lunt missed the game against Keighley which Town lost and coach Dave Rotheram has pin-pointed the player’s absence and that of Liam Campbell as key factors in the defeat.

Rotheram said: “It has been a tough start to the season for us especially with injuries. We miss Liam and Shaun when they don’t play. They play in key positions and when they are not playing you do notice.

“I was hoping to build a team around Shaun this season but he has only managed to play four out of our nine games, which is a big disappointment.

“On his day he is the best player that we have, that is backed up with him winning the NL2 awards for the last two years but he is not playing enough and that has a big impact on the rest of the team.

“Carl Forber has really taken the mantel. He has been great for us this season so have the rest of the squad.”

Town will be without speedy winger Martyn Wilson however at Skolars.

The 25-year-old has an ankle injury and could be missing for a while.

Rotheram said: “It is very unfortunate for us to lose Martyn because he has been playing so well recently.

“We will have to have a look at him next week but he will remain doubtful for a couple of weeks.”
